naccann and 0awesom3's third help page
We are a web design and maintenece company. So far our major clients include a congregational website, an electrican's CV, and a mobile US services start up. This teal block is where someone might think the REAL body'content' starts. This is more precisely content area 02. Remember, - the header [not to be confused with the HEAD] is part of the [body].In other words, the cool picture and buttons at the top of this page can be be thought of as a 'header...' However, it would be more accurate to think of them as content area 01.
This page is also formatted with seveal linked style sheets in the meta-data or the REAL [head]. That section is not seen by the common-folk. It is parsed by the browser but not displayed. For would-be programmers I will note, you can put css style elements and other meta-data in that section as well.
The style sheet [links] and even the included css style elements should give us plenty of creative freedom. Of course, I mean so that we can 'build' without having to 'make' everything from 'scratch.' The original goal of this page was to show, mark, and utilize hyperlinks. These were 'bookmarks' or anchors for different spots on the site and page. I think there will be a page called local buttons 4 that may handle that task better. [That is - local buttons 4 may do a better job of explaining how afore mentioned links work].
I had a comment hidden within the html [notation] stating: "If you were indenting properly in the fist place, you would have known why you have [/div] x2. This is to say - pay attention to where your [div] opens and closes!
There appears to be more than one way to change the background. The way it was don on this page is intuitive - it was achieved with something that we know applies to the whole body. That is - we defined the desired actions in the body tag. I thought this method to be quite clever so in its honor this whole note has been retained. I am pretty sure this is a html 2 or 3 convention. You can also use a style element in the header to set a background as seen on the James MG page. That way is more 'standard' and in keeping with html 5 or css standards. All I needed was one more sentence for this page to align - perfect[ly]!
In refrence to these buttons [what is wrong with regular buttons?]... They look OK. They are nice - not thrilling, but nice... I think you are meaning to say the buttons are not worth all the trouble and time that you have invested in them thus far. Please, just make some 'flashy' buttons if it is that important to you. Also, clean up all links and buttons on the spread sheet and quit changing them on individual pages. But, this really sounds like a bunch of button prejustice and biggotry to me.
